So then I called to one of the HC members in Nigde for help; at the beginning he didn’t believe that a foreigner is called and he answered all in Turkish, but after a few second that I specified I’m one of the HC members he found out what’s going on, lol lol

Dear all friends

Unfortunately I couldn’t get in touch with you and updating my website earlier than this for two reasons; first I’ve been getting lazy for a while at the end of my journey in Turkey and the second one is that I couldn’t find a good internet cafe to update my website in the first city Aleppo (Halab) in Syria and I don’t want to loose my journey information with the low internet connection. Today is 29th of May and I’m in the capital of Syria, Damascus. but for now I would like to tell the rest of my journey story in Turkey.

after Bala city I cycled to the other city named Kirshehir on the way I past some small cities as well such as Kaman and the road mostly was off road and under the construction and I had a hard time those days with cycling but it was good, in one of the off road up hills a tractor driver asked me if I want to put the bike on the back side of the tractor and join him till over the hill and at the end he invited me for having lunch in his home, and I accept it because I was very hungry and I really would like to meet the Turkish people in their home and talk to them they were a great family like others that I

Hi again mates

I’m back again, from Ankara I had decided to cycle on the normal road and being away from the highways ,that’s why I asked my friend.

From Izmit I cycled to the city named Bolu which was about 160 km far, I’ve chosen the high way as I heard there is a long tunnel about 28 km long it was really interested for me to see this amazing long tunnel. The road was great but not for cycling because the both side was closed by fences and I couldn’t go anywhere on the way if I see a good place to rest or an old village to cycle in and make contact with the people, it made me so sad but I had no way because I was waiting for the tunnel heheheh

4th April 08

Today I left the nice and beautiful Istanbul city heading off to the black sea on the north part of Istanbul, the weather was too cold and cloudy as usual, I cycled to reach the big bridge in Istanbul which connect tow Europe and Asian parts of Istanbul together, the road was mostly up hill to reach the entrance of the bridge, but it was interesting to see all Istanbul over the bridge, yes I went there but it was forbidden for cyclists and pedestrians along the way on the sidewalk, and the police stopped me to go, but in a second another policeman came with a motorbike and after a short discussion they decided to escort me on the bridge but on the sidewalk to pass and reach the Asian part, I asked them if I could take some photos, but the policeman said just keep going but the scenery was really great instead and I enjoyed a lot.

Then I looked to find a way to cycle on the coast and up to the black sea, the road was nice but very narrow and damaged as many trucks were riding on that roads, but I could reach the black sea and finally I’ve seen it from far a way. the weather was still cloudy and too cold and the green forest on the both side of the road made the weather much cooler, but it was really nice and beautiful place to ride on, I went to
